Happy Fourth of July, everybody! I swear that the fireworks have been going off for at least a week, if not more. over here.

Cass, if you're going through Atlanta.....GOOD LUCK! Folks used to take that route, but it's gotten to be ridiculous with the traffic, trucks on your bumper..... No, mom won't fly, so that's not an option.
At least you and Amanda are off.

We're in Ocala Fl right now. Best traffic I've had in years Atlanta was no problem at all. There were times in South GA the closest car in front of behind me were almost a mile away (that's me trying to pinpoint where they were and what my odometer said) I usually really don't have too much trouble with Atlanta I'm on 75 and stay in the HOV lane (ok March was a buger getting through there) We'll be at the beach tomorrow..there's a tropical storm out in the Atlantic hope it just stays there.

Cass, something is really, really wrong here; must be the price of gas, cuz Atlanta is a PITA, PLUS this is the holiday.......

Had a good time at the Lodge party. Only dim note is that my FIL is holed up in ICU at a local hospital. Broken hip, poss. double pneumonia, and possible minor MI. SIL and family never picked up the call, and we found out right before visiting hours were up. Will know more tomorrow.
