Good Morning! Sunday, September 2nd, 2007

Good morning, all! It's Sunday, and day 2 of a 3 day weekend for some of you. Hope you all have a great day today. So, any plans, or just winging it?

Here's a thought for the day: Sometimes the majority only means that all the fools are on the same side.

Today is my birthday! My family is here visiting, so I think we'll go to one of the parks here in Cedar Rapids for a picnic lunch, then probably out for dinner!

And many more, Amanda! Just hope you don't get sick on all that birthday cake you'll be getting....and at least you have a nice day for the picnic.

Re: Good Morning! Sunday, September 2nd, 2007

Hope you had a happy B-Day Amanda

DH and son went to the Cardinal/Reds game last night Cards won if you didn't know that... I went to Union Station and shopped a little no real deals there but bought some fudge (some for me) for mom for puppy sitting...then I went back to the hotel and got dinner then up to bed and started a new book. Today we were going to go up in the Arch. We got there at 10:30 and the line was already so long you couldn't go up until 2:30 so we went down on the riverfront where the helicopter pad was and we took a 20 minute ride over town ($340 for the 3 of us) it was a nice view and my 8 yr old really liked it "better the Hulk roller coaster at Universal" if I'd have know he liked it so much one of the docs I work with would have taken him sooner for free just a different view. Then we stopped at Scott Air Force Base and got some groceries then home and picked up the puppy now just messing around. Tomorrow is Daughtry concert. I go back to work Tuesday for 8 hours for P&P committee and clinicals start again this week so I'm going ot help out with them on Thursdays...stupid me

The DH and I have been in MO 3 times in the past 5 years. We do Living History, and were in St. Charles all 3 times, with side tracks to other areas besides. Nice area. Have pictures somewhere of the Flood of '02.....
