Good morning, everyone! Hope you all had a great day yesterday, and have an even better today. Think of it----it's Friday, and the weekend is nearly here.

So, is anyone going to come out and post today? Haven't seen many posts lately; what's going on? There HAS to be something going on......

Of course, the coffee is calling. I gotta work today, so I should load up on the caffeine.

Re: Friday, October 2nd, 2009

Good afternoon all, this has been quite a day.
As most of you know nursing school is HELLP without the P.
In answer to your question Cat, from the last we spoke about DOOM & GLOOM, the answer is that I have an instructor who wants us to find "NURSING" RESEARCH articles to back up our answers on quizes and exams for subjects such as "amniocentisus versus chorionic villus sampling". Try that and tell me how it goes. I found one and I'll tell you it wasn't easy. We have a small database at our college library (more of a libe realy, they can't actualy afford the rary) so we as students have to get pretty serious about finding them. Don't get me wrong it is a great learning tool but it does get pretty nerve racking when you find the perfect abstract and go to get the full text and find out that our library dosn't subscribe to that database so it will cost you $40 just to look at it. SO the hunt continues. Just today, myself, and 4 others from class spent 3 1/2 hours looking for NURSING RESEARCH ARTICLES, what a bummer when it is due on monday and then tuesday we have two more exams in other classes. As you can probably guess we are not the happiest group of campers in the woods, but still we plodddd on. It will all be worth it when it's over.

We had Cinhal in our library data base. Drop me a PM later, and I can give you info.

Yeah, instructor from hell. Sounds like my Nsg Research instructor.
