Good morning, everyone! TGIF, eh? Must be the weather, but I did NOT sleep well, and am tired as all get up. My usual cuppa coffee isn't really helping wake me up, either. Heck, I don't drink anything with caffiene after 6 pm..... Blah!

Sunday is Mother's Day. For those of you who still have your moms, do you have anything planned? I'm planning on dropping over and seeing her. Brought her some lilacs yesterday.

I was off today did a Sr Citizens Carnival this morning at the local Sr's apt complex...had Avon products but there were all kinds of home health, pharmacy, funeral homes etc there and they had a cookout for them and music.
Just messing around this evening listening to my 9 yr old yell at the TV watching the Cardinals game he can't stand any play for the other team or against the Cards (not a good sport when it comes to the Cards)

I have to work Mother's day so not doing anything for mom then. I did get a stepping stone kit we're going to have to get on making tomorrow after work. Mom's b-day is Monday so having DH make dinner (Lasagna) to take over and get my brother to make salad/bread. Then that evening I'm going with her to the high school for their awards night. She was given monitary donations after my dad died by people who wanted her to pick what charity to give to (she'd designated a few) so she made a scholarship in dad's name (he was a science teacher for 33 years) and she's giving 2 scholarships to students going into education. She needs some support to do it...don't know that I'm the right one for support I still get to be a basked case when thinking about dad sometimes so there's no being strong coming from me.
