Mornin', all; had one heck of a storm go through last night. First wave of rain wasn't too bad, but the second one? Hmmph. alotta lightening strikes both times..... Knees and back are still hurting from the pressure drop. Did you guys get any rain, Amanda?

Not much going on today; am gonna 'relapse' for now, and take a tylenol two.

Humid as all get-out right now, and talk of more rain?! Geez, will jazz up tomorrow for sure. Was planning on hitting a local re-enactment, but looks like Sunday will be the better day. We'll see.

I didn't have any rain went to the beach at 9 came back at 5 the water was pretty calm (wednesday it was slamming us around) so sat and read most of another book...could have finished it if I'd tried but had to stop reading quite often and just look around...we leave here tomorrow to go to the sister in laws for a few days in the Ft Lauderdale area then to Sanibel Island....talked to a couple of people from work they have been slammed..too bad for them

cassioo- for the best shelling, go to the beach at the very southermost tip of Captiva island (is attached to Sanibel via causeway) early in the morning (right at sun-up). In addition to being absolutely beautiful at this time, you will find the best shells (what Sanibel is famous for!), and most likely see quite a few dolphins swimming close to shore...
