Mood:   |  Care PKG to my son in Iraq... Here is my son's request; "...I need some Gillette disposable razors and Degree extreme blast anti-perspirant deodorant. Some good coffee would be awesome as well and powder creamer." Plus, I'm sure whatever else y'all can think of one might want/need while living in the desert he would greatly appreciate, too. I hope y'all don't mind? BTW, the US Post Office has flat rate priority mail boxes that when shipped your charged a flat rate, rather than by weight. Mood:  | Re: Care PKG to my son in Iraq... My hubby liked that sand-dragon whatever it is called shower gel from Axe and gatorade powder for the water bottles. I also sent him electrolyte powder to add to the water. You know the sweating and all. |

Mood: | Re: Care PKG to my son in Iraq... Amanda, the only concern with sending food would be the weather (aka heat) and the summer months have passed. He is much appreciative of any type of food and constantly ask for coffee. When I was in Iraq it was joy getting a care pkg no matter the contents. Needless to say, the chow while deployed is nothing to brag about. Cat, my apologies but been real busy. |
