I'm an OR Nurse and have never had a problem with finding a job. Maybe the company you are using do not handle much OR Positions. Maybe you should shop around for a different company.
Is there really limited demand for OR nurses? I am a foreign nurse seeking such a position. I have completed the processes required( such as NCLEX, Immigration process) to the point where only the offer of a job is required by the Embassy. I need a job, preferably in Florida. The placement manager of the agency with which I am working, has suggested that there are not many requests for nurses in my speciality area.
Does anyone know of areas of shortage to which I can direct her?
