Would like to relocate to Florida (LPN)

As you may of noticed I am wanting to move to Florida as an LPN.
I have been a nurse since 1996. Most of my experience has been in Emergency Room, but I have also had experience in Internal Medicine/Surgery Ward. Unfortunetlly, the pay for Nurses in Puerto Rico is very bad.
I would like to to move to Florida (Tampa area), to search for a better opportunity. I am figuring that I would have to go to Florida first, then send for my family (wife and children). I have had on other ocassions offers of employeement for other states in the US, but have had none yet for Florida. I was wondering if anyone here has any information on recruiters to Florida.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.

hey dude,

Im in the orlando area, i dnt see a lot of LPNs working in the ER i know of 2. shouldnt be too hard to get hired if you have a decent command of english.

i suggest u sign up for the lpn-rn bridge program as soon as u get a job here.

as u probably know we have a lot of people moving here daily.

it allows u to get your RN in a year vs. 2 years. Ill b in the paramedic bridge program next year. im knocking out my pre-reqs starting this summer. i already have an associates but of course several things didnt transfer.

off topic-- you wont have to miss PR traffic cause we got it just as bad out here

heres a link to a tampa school to get you started

That seems like a wonderful idea; thanks...
But, I guess I would have to be in Florida to do that. That's why I am asking for information on recruiters.

pretty much all of the bigger travel companies are going to have assignments in Florida. I am a traveler with RN Network- they are based in Boca Raton, and have a lot of Florida assignments, as well assignments all over the country. Not sure if they work with LPN's though- their website is "www.rnnetwork.com"
