Hi Everyone,
My name is Celeste and Im 26. I've been coming to this site for about a month now, and I find it interesing. Currently, Im in the process of applying to nursing schools and hope to be enrolled by Spring '08. For the past year and a half I've been finishing up my Sci-Preqs because I already hold a BA in Liberal Studies. During this time, I've had no luck with getting into schools. Im determined and will not give up the fight. I would like to know is it as difficult in other states to get into a school or could it be that NY is just so competitive. Right now, Im sort of desparate and am applying for both ADN and BSN programs, I just want to get in somewhere. All of my pre-reqs are done so now I just have to wait. I dont want to do the Accelerated prog because I still have to work to pay for school. My ultimate goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner. Do you guys have any tips and or pointers for me, I would greatly appreciate it!!
Thanks for reading!!!
