I like my Palm Zire..but it's 2 years old and outdated. I have Davis Drug guide installed on it and love it. It's so easy to use and I can look up meds in a flash.

A good thing about Palm...when you go for a new one...you can return the old for a credit.

I'm Biased because I spent a boatload on money on Motorola Q with Sprint servcie. I love it. You can install off those PDR's, etc, too.

I like it because it's a cell phone too - with ALL the bells and whistles.

I'll have to keep that in mind. I've already told my husband when I have the $$ to upgrade I want something to combo my PDA and phone....I'll have to look into that.

If you buy it with a new service contract it's $99. I think it's around $400 without.

Re: What is the best Palm Pilot or PDA?

Hey all,

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I am looking to get some software for my Palm M515 if possible.

Specifically, I'm looking for drug guide help and care plan help.

Does the M515 support anything of this nature?

Thanks in advance,

-Al

Re: What is the best Palm Pilot or PDA?

I have a Palm Treo from Cingular but prefer to use My Palm Tungsten for my calendar and nursing info. I don't like all my eggs in one basket. If your phone gets lost, dropped, or otherwise goes "mustang" you won't loose everything. You can reload the software off the site if that happens but I like the redundancy of two separate systems

On the Tungsten I have Nursing Central by Unbound Medicine. It is by far the best program I have used. It has Davis Drug Guide, Lab and Diagnostic tests, Diseases and Disorders, and Tabors 20th Edition. I also have 5 Minute Clinical Consult and Pedi Suite by MedicalWizards.com. Of them all I use the Nursing Central the most.
