Wanting to go to school.

I want to become an RN badly, actually I'd love to be a flight nurse. But at 21, I'm a little scared of failing. I know now is the perfect time, no marriage or kids but I'm didn't make straight A's in school and I'm no genius but I'm willing to give it my all. Any idea on the average pass rate for schools or even the school you went to? Also, how does one become a flight nurse?

Thanks!

Re: Wanting to go to school.

Where I teach we have a pretty good success rate on NCLEX. We usually have 50-60 students start out in a class and by the last semester (ADN program) there are about 35 left and usually they all pass the class. 3 haven't passed NCLEX of those 35 the last 2 years. There are schools all of the time who go on probation from the state board for low pass rates. You can ask at the school you go to what their class pass rate is and what their NCLEX pass rate is and also if they are accredited or on any type of probation
