Hey all! I just wanted to say thanks for the advice! I had my first day on the unit today and it went great! There is so much to learn and it was kind of overwhelming at first but I am just taking one day at a time! The books you all recommended helped too! I bought a few of them and I have been looking over policy & procedures too! So thanks yall! I'll keep everyone posted!

Good luck to you on your new job. Just remember there is a lot to learn so keep your eyes, ears, and mind open. I have been a RN since the early 90's and I still learn something new every day. Good luck and welcome to the nursing profession
