I work L&D and I think the biggest precent are hair removed or very limited and not just the ones that will be in tiny bikinis either.
I AM AN RN AND I LEFT THE NURSING FIELD IN 1990 TO HAVE CHILDREN AND RETURNED LAST YEAR. I HATE TO BRING UP THIS EMBARRASSING TOPIC BUT WE ARE ALL PROFESSIONALS. I HAVE NOTICED THAT MANY WOMEN COMPLETLY REMOVE THE HAIR FROM THEIR PUBIC REGION. I AM MIDDLE AGED AND DON'T GET THIS TREND. IT IS JUST NOT THE TEENAGE GROUP EITHER IT IS WOMEN IN THERE 30'S AND 40'S. I HAVE LIVED A SHELTERED LIFE. IS THIS THE CURRENT TREND EVERYONE ELSE IS SEEING ???

It is just awkward to see some professional mature woman in her 30's and sometmimes 40's clean as a whistle. Have you noticed that the older ladies are also trying this ??
Why would it be awkward? It provides cleaner, fresher feeling to the patients (during delivery prep, at least here in my country). I guess its exactly the same feeling that shaved or waxed women aims for. Not to mention the hygienic advantage it gives by reducing odor causing bacteria whatsoever.
Just a thought. Interesting but cute topic.

good old soap and water works too. I've wondered about the men that like the clean as a whistle cause the thing isn't pretty and makes it look like a little girl. We don't do a shave prep for vag deliveries anymore anyway just betadine. And it's bad enough trying to keep your legs shaved so they don't itch growing out...
