    Watch out for MMS

There are some terrible companies out there, but I warn you about the worst one I have seen after being with 8 different ones. Mobile Medical Staffing is the absolutely worst group of so-called human beings I have ever come in contact with. I have also spokent to about 20 travelers who feel the same way and have been lied to by them. They are also so-called Christians. Nothing could be further from the truth. Being a Christian, which I am, is about acting Christ-like, not when it is easy, but when it is dificult. They are the most preachy group of self absorbed creatured that I have ever worked with. I have a message for Dick Brown, the owner who asked me if I had "peace in the Lord"... Practice what you preach. Look at the "Reflections" on their web site. This man is a freak, not because he is a Christian, I am very much so myself, but because he is a hateful, spiteful and vindictive human being, (these are his words to me). Would Christ kick someone out of their housing after being fired for no reason of their own, and then cancel payment on the place, leaving this person responsible for over $1000.00? Would Christ question someone's integrity who he has no basis for doing so? I do not think so. Why is is this company thinks they can fool people into thinking they are a Christian group just to prey (not pray) on those who hold these values sacred? I don't know but I can tell you from having spoken to this man as well as his partner, they are the farthest thing from Christians. They are the biggest hypocrites you will ever find. The organizations I have worked with and trust after 8 years are, Medical Express, Starmed (Clearwater office), and Onward Healthcare (who I am with now). I just worked the worst assignment of my career with Mobile Medical Shafting and while on assignment met 4 others who would never mak that mistake again. My message to allof you is clear...STAY AWAY from them...STAY FAR AWAY.

they also have the worst health insurance in the industry. How do you like a $2500.00 deductable? And that is for single insurance.

WOW, I'm glad you shared that. Did you rate them under the reviews on this forum so even more good travelers will know to stay away from them? I'm glad you have found a good agency. I started working with Netis Healthcare Staffing and they have been great. Happy travels!

I hear Onward is a great company. I am a nurse recruiter with a different agency, but you made a good choice with Onward. It is sad when business people use Christs name to further their business objectives, and then represent him so badly.

I was so happy to see this post. Glad to hear I am not the only one who has been "shafted" I have had the most horrendous experience with this company. I have been yelled at and made to feel horrible for many things beyond my control. I was in a Contract in the bowels of hell unsafe assignment, and they pretended to be there but only told me what they thought I wanted to hear. They missed a shift on my first cheque and missed part of my travel allowance. The lap top never materialized. I paid 1000 in out of pocket expenses for the so called day one insurance. I called about the cards and was told they were not in yet. When I had a family child custody related emergency at home, they were appalled that I would have to leave the assignment to take care of my children. Next I got paid on payday, but it was minus two shifts and the travel allowance still, and to my surprise it was extracted from my account that night. I have contacted the company regarding this illegal manouver but have not heard back yet. The labor board will be involved next. I think they need to be added to the list of Evil empires. Not only that but I have been verbally abused by two different staff members , my recruiter included. Don't go there people -- it is a nightmare.

Let me guess obrn5. they told you that you also had a commitment to the "hospital" as well as your children and should fulfill that one instead? Right? The commitment to the "hospital" was more of a commitment to their billing department. What a joke. Did you ever speak to "Dick" Richard Brown? I would love to hear how that experience went.

It's always helpful to hear about agencies that do not stand up for what they advertise. I travel with Preferred Healthcare Staffing and have overall been pleased. Does anyone know of good places to work in North Carolina?
