| re working with children Hi everyone, please forgive if I am posting in the wrong forum as this is my first time . I am interested to know if anyone can give me any help on this one, a post has come up in our local hospice for an assistant to help a few hours a week ata drop in centre for children who are affected by major illness or death. I am very interested in this, being a paediatric nurse. As you probably realise I will have come across my fair share of grieing children in the last 25 years but I was wondering if anyone had ben on any counselling courses along these lines or indeed if anyone has set up such a programme themselves. Any help would be appreciated, thank you very much. As I am night shift for the next few nights it may be nearer the end of the week before I am back online. Hope to heare from someone, Morag.Text |
