Psych Home Care Nursing

I am considering trying Psych Home Care and would like to hear from anyone with experience in that. I work one day a week in and ICU and am looking to make some more money with a flexible schedule. I've heard before that psych home care is great and would love some feed back. Thanks in advance to anyone who would respond! Kefnb

During school I worked at a large mental hospital, and if I was asked to do psych home care, my answer would be NO WAY! How safe is it for you to go alone into a mentally unstable person's home??? Not sure if you're male or female or not, but as a female, I certainly would NOT feel safe at all walking alone into the home of someone who is mentally ill enough to require psych home care. Just my 2 cents...
