| Re: Post Op CABG and Valve Surgery Preprinted Orders Most places I've worked do use them...but the docs usually have a big say in what goes into the preprinted post op orders..if you have good ones they are great...but I worked at one place that they weren't very helpful as they were not inclusive. mercynurse |

What we do here is put together the preprinted orders THEN let a couple of the physicians look at them. They usual make a few small changes then approve them. In this case, I am trying to look at best practices first. I will then construct a preprinted order set for our two cardiothoracic surgeons to review. |
