| Patient Care Technician I heard from a counselour at my school --although I think she might be wrong-- that PCT's can take the exam to become LPN/LVN straight out of school. Can anyone confirm/deny this claim? |

| Re: Patient Care Technician Would any experienced nurse recomend taking PCT instead of CNA. I was comparing the salaries and training and PCT seems to be more favorable. I'm just trying to figure out the best route to becoming an RN while working. |
