I'm a registered, working as a nurse, and happy. Recently I have read all the articles I can find about the nursing shortage. According to the stats in my state, there isn't a shortage of nurses, just a shortage of nurses working in the field. Over the years I have had many mentors, all I owe so much to, and all have always told me to remember to "CYA" in our work. I've heard many of stories, both good and bad. Recently I decided to try my hand at writing a story, a group of short stories about nurses. Anyone who has a story to tell, either good or bad I'd love to hear from. Real names, or made up names are fine, please let me know your education and specialty. All credit will be given to the story teller.
I believe that talking about the problems we face can only help in solving them. I appreciate anyone who's willing to take the time to contribute.
