Hello, have a nursing question?

If a pt. is bedridden from and acute epidural hematoma from 2 months ago and still is unresponsive,...why would his MPV, HCT, RBC, and Hgb be at low levels?

Only meds on is Lovenox and Reglan.

Blood thinners will sometimes lover HGB. He may have some bleeding still ongoing. Any procedural things happening? Infection is another possibility. What is the Ferritin level?

Could also be chronically anemic.
