Good morning, everyone! I know....the weekend is going by a little too fast. I'm slugging my first cuppa coffee right now, and will be going out shopping later; have a wedding next weekend, and need to get a gift or two.

    BTW.......here's the morning coffee

slept in a little then read the paper and did a little yard work...going to hire a handy man cause DH isn't really handy in the yard. I tried to call my 22 yr old to get him over here doing it but he didn't answer (he owes me LOL). Going to lunch with mom and brother when mom gets out of church.
Didn't get called in yesterday YEA Cardinals won last night thank goodness so DH and 9 yr old will be home later they spent the night at his moms. Countdown to vacation 6 days left to work in the next 2 weeks then the beach will have my name written on it

    Good Morning!

Hey Cass, glad you did not get called in yesterday. I know ya'll are really looking forward to vacation time at the beach. Which beach is your choice of pleasure?

Hey Cat, thanks for the coffee... looks great. Had a wonderful time yesterday shopping. LOL, we had lightening & thunder during the night. I use to think all that activity by Mother Nature to be
 However, the loud noises & flashes made me think of different events back in Iraq. Nothing like flash backs making me dysfunctional at the moment. More like auto recall, if that makes any sense. Really very weird. I guess my time in Iraq will be something I'll never forget.

Cass, remind 22 y.o. that no more pay puts until work is done.

Soldier....all I can think of is a form of PTSD. Remember Charlie Daniel's 'Still in Saigon'? I do worry about that.

Picture of coffee compliments of Photobucket. There are two or three other places I find these things.

At this time, my auto recall has not disrupted my life, nor interfered with my daily activities. However, we [while on deployment] were told PTSD usually does not raise it's ugly head until 6-12 months after redeployment [return home].

Red face Re: Sunday, August 17th, 2008

This time around we're going to Maderia Beach (St Pete area) I have a timeshare right across the street from John's Pass so the food and shopping is right there. Hope the coming hurricane stays away from the area

Never got a return call from my 22 yr old he might have been sleeping he's working nights right now but more likely he was ignoring me When I start traveling the plan is for him to give up his apartment and move in the house and just pay me what he pays in rent now and keep things up.

No low census for me tomorrow boy has his welcome back to school open house tomorrow then he has another one for the challenge class later in the week..wish they'd do it all at once.
