Re: Night Nurses: Why Do You Work Nights?

Sorry, couldn't do the form, not good @ cut & paste, but will try to complete survey. I am a 49 yo RN, female. I work 144 yrs per mo, FT. I work 12hr shifts 7P-7A, three in a row. Have been on nights for 10yrs(my entire nursing career) because more cohesiveness with night staff, better money. I started out on days, staff, politics made me crazy, would have quit if I hadn't gone nights. I am married (32 yrs), my husband is retired but continues to draw the same salary he did when employed (ran his own business), and of course he would LOVE for me to work days!! My best friend and I work the same shifts together in the same area of nursing, and I LOVE it!!
