| Need help for article, Did you lose Overtime? For the last 8 months there has been a lot of discussion and worry about Nurses losing overtime pay. In Texas it was stated by some that as many as 50% of RN's may possibly lose overtime. Beginning Monday, August 23rd, the new rules went into effect. The Nurses Lounge, a nursing magazine and website member of this forum in Dallas, wants to know what has really transpired for an article we are doing for our September issue (and here online). So, did you or any nurse that you know lose overtime pay??? Please respond and tell us where and what type of company you are working for. We are counting on you. Thanks in advance! (By the way, so far we have only found one hospital (in DFW) that says an employee has become ineligible for overtime pay and it wasn't a nurse.) |
