Your patient sounds like they need a turning schedule, to keep pressure off any other potential pressure areas. Without knowing any more about the area, I am not able to suggest any other treatment. Please PM me and I can try to help.

do you have a wound care specialist? It does depend on the kind of wound and the stage as to what to do for it and many doctors don't know but do start with the turning/pressure relief.

thank you for the Reply, Today I try to do the best, actually this is no my Mistake But Patient was transfered from ICU and with Bed Sore, So i try to turn side every 2 hourly and apply some oitment and suppurated in the wound area.

Depending on the location of the area, it may be best to cover the area with a dressing, and a topical agent as necessary.

:39: The Dr. May Need To Order Some Labs. Such As An Albumin Level And A Cbc. The Patient's Diet Is Very Important. Because As We Know Wounds Start From The Inside. I Agree That A Wound Care Nurse Should Look At It And It Needs To Be Staged So That It And The Pt. Can Receive Proper Tx. Depending On Where The Sore Is, Keep The Pt. Clean And Dry. Also Keep The Sheets Tight Fitted On The Bed And Rember To Lift Up Then Move Verses Dragging The Skin On The Bed. You Might Need To Get Help With The Cares.
