Re: Start Your Own Nursing AGency Registry Business

Excuse me,

Why are you spamming our general forums with your agency opportunities? You post has absolutely nothing to do with foreign nurses.

There's a place for them and you ad is already there. You're not the only one here with a business to promote. Kindly follow the same rules we do.

Re: More Foreign Nurses- is it a plot?

Foriegn nurses are coming here because they make more money. In most places (especially where medical care is "socialized"), they make 1/4 of what they do here. I don't blame them. Nurses should protect their profession the way the AMA protects doctors. Who cares where they came from, so long as they are an asset to the profession.

We have no new foreign nurses, at least in the last 13 years. But the FOREIGN doctors. I yi yi yi!!!! It is hell taking orders over the telephone. Although, most write better than American doctors.

Re: More Foreign Nurses- is it a plot?

I think we just have to face the facts. Nursing isn't the attractive profession that it once was. Like everything else from pumping gas to flipping burgers, foreigners are taking the jobs that most Americans simply don't want to be bothered with.

And I agree with spongebathbob.

Compared to what nurses make in the Phillipines, United Kingdom, India and Australia, a nurse can "get rich" in a few short years working in the US. Most send significant portions of what they make home.
