| message taker I have this problem with a certain nurse. I really like her but she takes my messages and often she does not inform me about the message, or the message is so far off I know it is not correct. I haven't discussed this with her related to after the many times I've had to recall the doctor, lab tech, PT department, family and etc, one would think she would stop doing this. I answer my pages promptly, so this is not the reason she does this. I've informed her that I am waiting on a call from the doctor, and this usually works. However, I don't have a lot of time to be telling her every time I am awaiting a reply from someone. This happens almost daily and it is really getting to me. Any suggestions? She's very nice and kind, but.......she really needs to stop this. How do I do this in a kind way but blunt enough she really gets my message. |
