| on-line patient tracking system trial I am not sure if I am posting this into the correct category, but I suppose the General forum is my best bet. Our ED currently uses a dry-erase board to manage patient flow and we have been looking into a system that is based on the internet (sorry for my lack of technical jargon). It is www.patienttrak.net and to run it, we apparently don't have to buy any new computers, can be running on it very quickly, and only pay a small fee per patient recorded. (so what do we have to lose, right???) Questions: 1. Is anyone familiar with this system? 2. If so, what has your experience with it been? 3. Have you "interfaced" it with any other in-house systems? We are probably going to proceed with it next month, but any feedback/heads-up would be greatly appreciated! |
