Life as a traveler

I must say that one perk that nursing brings is the opportunity to work and travel. I may be attending a 12 month nursing school in May, if I decide to accept. I would love to hear from anyone who has done travel nursing whether it be from the past or presently. How is life on the road? Is it lonely? Do you find companionship with other travelers? What may have been your favorite assignment? Thanks!!!
