Now they have increased the efficiency of smoking it though using Vaporizers. They work so much better.
I am not sure what you mean. What does it mean when you say "conventional for so many people?" You have been pummeled with scare tactics, DARE(what a joke, full of lies and ignorance, and scare tactics),outdated information, and just plain refusal to look at the real facts. If one chooses to believe that this plant is as evil without looking at any other details, that is all they will see. I do not promote the stereotypical "it's all good, maaaan" hippy long haired stoner type personna that holds the truth back.
These types are a detriment to people who enjoy cannabis and it keeps people from even bothering to look at any good truthful information. Please read the NORML website and find out the way it became illegal in the first place. Look up Mr. Anslinger, W.R.Hurst, and Dupont.
Yellow dog journalism, greed, and extreme prejudice are the ONLY reasons why this plant has been villified and demonized. I grew up listening to the same bull**** that everyone else has. I chose to seek out the truth because it has never done anything negative to me except make me lazy at times.
If you want to believe that the potency has increased way beyond what it was in the 60's-70's, that is another scare tactic based on a study of some samples that were 30 years old and very low grade. The potency has increased but only by a margin of 3-7%. It is just as strong as it has been since it was discovered as a medicine thousands of years ago. This is another lie/scare tactic/propaganda by the people recieving money to keep it illegal.
In answer to your question, YES I am sure.100%! Please look beyond Wikipedia and other such nonsense. Search the websites I have given above in my other post.I implore all who read this to do the same. I am not trying to get anyone to smoke it, only to know the truth.
NO it is not for everyone, but it is not a demon weed like the DEA/feds,etc... want us to believe. That is a major cash flow for the peole involved, they will NEVER admit they were wrong. It is up to the younger generation who are more informed and open minded to make this world a better place. The old folks in charge are stubborn and prideful.
Now they have increased the efficiency of smoking it though using Vaporizers. They work so much better.
I know what I am about to say is dangerous, but it truly is what I believe. I don't have a problem with marijuana being legal to adults, what I am opposed to is people not having to face the consequences of their behavior. Case in point, how many patients have been treated for skin infections r/t shooting
up heroin. There is a reason heroin is illegal. If these patients have the money to pay for their hospital treatment, great. Otherwise, why is it that taxpayers have to pay for something, that according to the law never should have taken place to begin with. With marijuana, it is said that it can be found in a person even up to 5 years later by testing a strand of hair. There must be some consequences to a person, who decides to ignore, common sense, scientific research and well-intentioned laws. At what point should this person be accepted to hospital for medical care at the taxpayer's expense. I would be interested to hear logical arguments for why my belief is in conflict with the real limitations of what our healthcare system and economy can provide.
Medical MJ was passed here in Michigan. Also I don't see the problem using it for rec. use. Looking at the drug profile it is far less dangerous than ETOH for example.
Countries are looking at the model for marijuana in Portugal. Not that it is legal but that it is far cheaper to treat and educate addiction programs that it is to police it. Medical Marijuana is going to be on the spring ballot here in Texas of all places. Can you imagine that. But then it did pass in Arizona

Guess this says something: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_people_montel_williams;_ylt=AnIkfkKjrAwdsmPpguM AY7Ss0NUE;_ylu=X3oDMTN1Nm05MHQwBGFzc2V0A2FwLzIwMTE wMTA1L3VzX3Blb3BsZV9tb250ZWxfd2lsbGlhbXMEY2NvZGUDb W9zdHBvcHVsYXIEY3BvcwMxMARwb3MDNwRwdANob21lX2Nva2U Ec2VjA3luX2hlYWRsaW5lX2xpc3QEc2xrA21vbnRlbHdpbGxpY Q----
Wisconsin authorities say former talk show host and medical marijuana activist Montel Williams has been cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.
The Milwaukee County sheriff's office says the Transportation Security Administration found Williams had a pipe commonly used for marijuana as he passed through a security checkpoint Tuesday.
The sheriff's office says Williams paid the $484 citation and was released to continue his travel.
Williams has said he uses marijuana to relieve chronic pain caused by multiple sclerosis that was diagnosed in 1999. The 54-year-old has said he became an activist pushing for medical marijuana laws after being stopped at a Detroit airport years ago for carrying drug paraphernalia.
Messages left Tuesday for his attorney, Nina Shaw, were not immediately returned.
Not all states are as understanding. And how WOULD you deal with it when you cross state lines? Each state has different laws......
Actually it will not be all that long for MJ to become legalized. Corporations are already formed and more getting set for the legalization to occur. Once you get Corporate America to support. Even the Republicans will line up to endorse it. After all it was corporate America back when that got together and made it illegal. Now they see the money to made from legalization and also the savings in decriminalization and taking the power away from the drug warlords and the money to combat them.
I feel abot MJ the way I feel about alcohol: Legalize it? Fine. But you need a Buyers' Card. When you get that card, you get no public assistence, and particularly no trauma care. Caught driving while influenced? Fine, your vehicle is impounded on the spot, and sold at $10 auction to someone who is hopefully more interested in getting to work than getting high.
Otherwise, we're just adding to the burden on the healthcare and social service systems. Taxes on alcohol don't offset trauma costs, MJ tax wouldn't either.
To be blunt- some people are born without the capacity to live without being told what to do(Public Health is a constant reminder of this). Unfortunately, we've decided it is most socially appropriate to subsidise them and put them on the roads with our families. 150 years ago, they'd fall off their horse and be dragged. They'd live if the fall wasn't on something sharp or hard, and if the dragging wasn't too far. Now we have Fire working in the midst of traffic, cutting them out, EMS taking them to the Trauma center, all to discharge them so they can play again.
If you want to look at it that way, then consider it as job security for us.

OK, another version of 'drinking and driving' here: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110124/..._pot_meets_pop
A California entrepreneur has plans to market a line medical marijuana soft drinks.
Clay Butler says he plans to supply medical marijuana with his soda pot, which contains the psychoactive marijuana ingredient THC.
Marijuana drinks are already showing up here and there, but Butler says he thinks his branding savvy will make his product a hit.
Besides his flagship cola drink, Canna Cola, he will also produce Dr. Pepper-like Doc Weed, lemon-lime Sour Diesel, grape-flavored Grape Ape and orange-flavored Orange Kush.
A 12-ounce bottle will cost $10 to $15.
The Soquel-based commercial artist tells the Santa Cruz Sentinel that he doesn't do drugs or need medical marijuana for any ailments.
Tom, you say it's job security for us. What if the nurse is hopped up like the patient?
