    Post Job application question

I've applied for a perm RN job at a hospital that I had a travel assignment and really liked the hospital etc. Nurse Recruiter called last week and was impressed w my resume, etc. Had a good interview w nurse recruiter who said he would give my resume to Nurse Manager, and , I've not heard anything. I realize that last week was pre 4th holiday, so, I did not expect to hear that week.
Anyway, should I call the Nurse Recruiter or give it more time?

Since today is Thursday of the second week, I think I would wait until the beginning of the new week. It seems that job hunting activities are best handled on Mondays or Tuesdays if possible. There is something about job hunting that looks like it is an afterthought or you're really not interested if you make a contact on Friday. I had an employer comment along those lines one time and I had another one comment about the fact that I showed up early in the afternoon to a cattle call all day event, instead of salivating at the door when they opened up at 9 am.
