| Iron sharpening iron Well I've been an RN for less than 6 months now. I give credit to my instructors in school for teaching the best they knew how. However, after graduation once you hit that floor running you realize there was not enough preparation for what you face on a day to day basis on the floor. So much to manage, so much to do, and equally importantly, so much to learn. So I would like to ask each of you what journals relative to nursing do you subscribe to? And what other supplemental resources do you use to keep up with your nursing knowledge base? What are some things that you found helpful with your chosen specialty? |

| Re: Iron sharpening iron I have kept my Med-Surge book and Fundamentals of Nursing book since I have finished shcool. I use them as reference when I get home for whatever questions I might have. I also use eMedicine online. Right now I am not subscribed to any journals. |
