| information Hello my name is Nikita. I am currently going to school to for LVN. My goal is next year to move to texas. I want to further my education, but not have any extra loans to get my RN. Do you know of any places that offer tuition reimbursement to give them some years of work? |

Lots of hospitals will give you tuition if you work for them so finish your LVN get a job at a hospital that will pay for you to get your RN...my hospital will pay for anyone working there be it LPN, housekeeper, cook, security and will for RN to get BSN, MSN or ARNP, CRNA. You do have to agree to work for them for an amount of time after but if you don't you pay them back but by that time if you want to move on you could have enough money to pay them back or stick it out a couple more year.

| Re: information Texas is a big place, lady! Here's what you'll find online if you search out Texas' hospitals... Baylor University Medical Center's website (in Dallas): "Tuition Reimbursement -- Full-time employees are eligible following six months of employment. Baylor reimburses 100% of "residency" in-state rates for approved courses completed with a grade of "C-" or above". Children's Medical Center (also Dallas) says: "A percent of university state rate tuition costs for job related courses is reimbursed for full-time or part-time. Specialty exams are also considered". Denton Regional Medical Center offers: "rewards employees for their dedication, specialized skills and compassion with a variety of substantial benefits including: Tuition Reimbursement/Scholarship Programs" Christus Santa Rosa (in San Antonio) offers: "$1,200 annually for tuition and selected lab fees". Figure out where you want to live, what you want to do, what school is going to cost and THEN where you want to work -- and look at the places online first, so you know what they're promising even before you interview!! --p |
