| ICU Acuity system What kind of Acuity system do you use? We use Medicus which is quite flawed in that, we are only allowed to count the 24 beds we have. If we discharge or transfer people and get new patients in, we cannot count these patients. Since our suits base budget and staffing positions on average daily census, Medicus enables them to keep the numbers artifically low. What other systems are out there and what is your opinion of them? |
