I quit!!

Hi there. I am new to this board and I think I may have found it too late. I am an LPN who just quit my job in a hospital as a med/surg nurse. I have hated nursing since the day I started my first job. I was working in a nursing home. The girl who was orientating me was a total witch. I cried the whole way home. I ended up getting fored a month later because the CNA forgot to resteain a patient and she fell out of her wheelchair. Her Son happened to be a lawyer. Long story short, I have had no luck being a nurse. Never in all my life have I ever felt so incompetent and been treated so badley by employers. Has anyone else had this struggle? Since the day I started this "career" I have been looking for something, anything else.

I've never had the problem but I know nurses that didn't last too long and some that never went to work after finishing school. I know one that finished nursing school then went to dental hygine and that's what she does now. Good luck to you.
