Cougar,
We got more snow here in IL. The 30 mile drive after shift took 1 hour and 45 minutes.
I'm a little sick of it too.

Good morning, all.....more snow here. This is getting tedious. Hope you all have a great day, whether you're working or off.

it took me about an hour to drive the 30 miles to work yesterday but normal drive time home and we only had 1-2 inches. I had traded to work yesterday and had a new grad orintee. It was a pretty easy day...a c-section in the morning then nothing all day until about 4. About 6:30 it looked like she'd have a c-section "sometime tonight" as the CST and I said. The baby just wasn't looking as good as it could. At 1850 high five the CST and "not on my shift YIPPY" then at 1855 the baby crashed with heart rate down to 50 so off to the OR we run. Didn't count or prep just threw on some betadine (thank goodness the doctor was there and anesthesia had just arrived as they had another OR case that had to be done)The night shift walked into the OR and took over but we then had lots of paperwork to do so got out late.. The CST accussed me of saying "the A team" which I used to say because we work well together but she's told me I can't say that anymore because we end up in some stupid situation or busy busy busy when I do. All I said was not on my shift...last time I trade![]()

Tell me about the snow! I swear that Route 80 is a great snow magnet. It was a beast and a half getting to AND from home, and I am glad I made it. Be gald we aren't in NY, or got hit like in '67. I vaguely remember THAT mess.
