| Help for overweight nurses I went on South Beach diet about 2 years ago, and went from size 15 to 5 (have kept it off). Now about 10 nurses in our office have started it as well, and they too are doing really good. It's been the best way of eating/diet I've ever done and my body feels the best. The even better news is that my labs are all normal again (plus I have celiac sprue, so I have to avoid flour period) People ask me how I keep it off. I always cut back if my pants begin to get a little snug. I NEVER go out and buy a larger size pants now if I've put on a few pounds. I go back to phase II until my pants are comfortable again. I am human too, but this plan has worked wonderful for myself and many other nurses. Hope this helps to encourage some of you. Send me a PM if you'd like more info on the diet. ![]() |
