Help!!!

hello everyone,

I've never been on this chat before but i certainly do need advise. im a current freshmen in JR. college in CA. and im currently taking my prerequisites to get into a local nursing school but it seems like its gunna take forever... once i finaly finish these very hard prerequisits i will just be set behind every one else thats finished them too on a very long waiting list... do i have any other options?? does any one know of any private nursing schools that dont have imposible waiting lists im willing to go out of state. I'm looking to obtain my RN.

Re: Help!!!

smaller communities in more rural areas with community college systems that don't have the population to draw from. There is still a wait at some but not as long of a line.

Thumbs up Re: Help!!!

:frustrated: HI. IT'S B.SHELTON. I AM AN L.P.N. AND HAVE BEEN FOR TEN YEARS NOW. I WENT TO NURSING SCHOOL IN CALIFORNIA. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A QUICK WAY TO GET MY R.N.
THERE IS A NURSING SCHOOL IN CA. CALLED MOUNT ST. MARY'S. I DON'T REMEMBER WHAT STREET ITS ON BUT IT IS IN LOS ANGELES. BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU GO BECAUSE IN MY SEARCH FOR AN R.N. PROGRAM I HAVE COME TO LEARN THAT EACH NURSING SCHOOL REQUIRE DIFFERENT PREREQUISITS. SO YOU MIGHT SPEND ALOT OF TIME DOING THE REQ'S AND DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU END UP GOING YOU MIGHT NEED DIFFERENT ONE'S. EVEN AFTER ALREADY HAVING COMPLETING 1 MILLION. SO WHAT I SUGGEST IS THAT YOU SEARCH NURSING PROGRAMS AND FIND OUT EXACTLY WHAT COURSES THEY REQUIRE YOU TO HAVE. AND AFTER FINDING ONE, YOU WILL KNOW IF YOU HAVE TAKEN THE RIGHT COURSES. I HOPE THIS HELPS.
