It seems that the HOSPITAL'S daycare has what is called a "sensory box" (2x1x1 feet)that was filled with pinto beans for them to play with. He spent all Monday at daycare, where this box is open all day for the kids to play in when they want to, with minimal supervision. We discovered the bean a whole week later. He started acting like he felt bad on Thursday, and the high fevers started Friday. Guess he thought his nose needed a little sensory stimulation.

Needless to say, they are paying the medical bills.

Glad to hear it turned out okay. Kinda funny, but scary at the same time. Good to hear they are paying the bill and hope they add some supervision and get rid of the bean box. He could choke on one just as easily...
