| CANADIAN RN's PLZ RESPOND ****o, I'm a recently degreed nursing student. I've had a few offers to different locations in the US from Texas, to Florida to CA. Would it better to sign on with a magnate hospital? For the Canadians who are in Texas, is it worth it in terms of lifestyle and salary and which location is better? Dallas or Houston? I'm single. By far CA hospitals are offering in the $30 per hour range. Does anyone know of Palm Springs General Hospital in Florida? Any more info anyone can provide, it is appreciated. txs. pam |

| Re: CANADIAN RN's PLZ RESPOND hi, I worked at University of Colorado Hospital which had magnate status, but then again, I worked at some really nice hospitals that didn't. Just do your research. Are you signing with a hospital or with a company? I did travel nursing for 3 years and that is definately the way to go. Free housing and $$. When I was travel nursing, I made $40/hr in California, but that was 3 years ago now. I definately recommend SoCal. Beautiful beaches and great weather. Good luck! |
