| Blood and etc... This has probably been beat to death and I'm sorry if it has but, if someone gets queezy at the sight of bad injuries, but wants to work in an ER for the experience, is it really possible to desensitize yourself or should I say "get used to it"? Thanks. |

| Re: Blood and etc... It depends on what the previous exposure to blood and such things are. If the only blood you've seen in that quantity were as some experience as a child or with your own family then sometimes when it's strangers and part of the job the reaction is different....my problem when I started wasn't blood but poop...I still don't like it but it doesn't bother me now (I don't like it but it doesnt really bother me) ok except this one time last year with this huge impaction.
