Hi Dorko 101, You will find that literature and writing classes are required for any college education so be prepared but don't let that scare you off, please... Get some help now so English doesn't hold you back from getting a college degree. It may never become your favorite subject but it shouldn't cripple you either. I'm sure there are teachers who will help you work through writing blocks or reading struggles but you have to ask them and be prepared to do the work. If you're out of school now, consider taking an English course at the adult night school just to get stronger in the subject. It will be worth it. Do you like science and math? If you want to go into nursing, expect a lot of science; biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology to name a few, and plenty of labwork. For the math, most nursing programs require at least Algebra II or it's equivalent. Good luck R | |
