|  Allit axnd Shipman research Since Allit and Shipman the NHS has put in place both appraisal and supervisor systems. I am doing research to back up an article and wanted to get some view points on their effectiveness. In our area, a medium sized, busy (aren't they all) hospital most on our ward haven't had an appraisal in the last year-some haven't had one for 3 yrs. As for the supervisor thing-we had the initial lecture but nothing took off since. Could you please let me know how it works in your area and do you think there is anything in place to stop another Allit ? You don't have to be specific about your area. Thank you. |
