| Re: 3 Year waiting period, is there other options? There are programs with long waits (which seems wierd since there is such a shortage of nurses) but there are some programs out there if you keep looking. As far as trying to balance everything it can be done. I am a full time student, Hold down a full time job (45-50 hours a week) and still find time for my family, it isn't easy but it is possible and for me at least it is well worth it. There are some programs with great aid pacakages that help curb not only the cost of the education but the loss or drop in earnings while you go back to school. |
