Re: NANDA nursing diagnosis

wouldn't you have to write a diagnosis every time you saw a pt. even in geriatrics we wrote them. I also miss the SOAPE notes.

Hi. Are electricolights and Christmastime words? Maybe one of your classmates could lend you a grammer school English text.

Re: NANDA nursing diagnosis

It is a pity that people who call themselves nurses can be so close minded. Whoever thought that reiki etc sounds like snake oil and that it has a placebo effect and nothing else needs to open their eyes and ears. Reiki is an awesome non-invasive form of healing and I have witnessed first hand patients who had terminal cancer have several intensive sessions of reiki and the cancer has simply retreated. They had less than 6 months to live and they are still happy and healthy 3 years later. Nurses should actively look for new ways of healing instead of looking for ways to pour scorn on some non-western methods.
Kez open minded nurse

Re: NANDA nursing diagnosis

In order to use the nsg dx of disturbed energy field, it states that you must have specific training and have an advanced degree. I don't write em. I had a lot of questions regarding that one myself. I cannot recall the nurse theorist who made up that diagnosis but one of my professors said she was a colorful theorist.
