I'm considering applying at the San Antonio State Hospital but wish I could talk to someone who's worked there in about the last ten years or so. Anyone willing to share their experience there?

I worked there 4 yrs, almost went broke. Pay is terrible, the LVN hate RNs, the MHW threaten you if you want then to do A good job, take care of pts. If you don't care about anything you'll do great there. If you are black you'll be automatically promoted even if you aren't better qualified
