"Posing" as a nurse

If someone is posing as a nurse then they shouldn't be giving medical advice, but I'm not a nurse, but its an interesting field and am looking into it. Dont hate

Re: "Posing" as a nurse

It is against the site policies for ANYONE to give medical advice on this site- even those of us who really are nurses.....

Re: "Posing" as a nurse

Has someone been giving medical advice on this forum?

Sam, I think I may speak for all of us when I say that I'm glad of your interest in nursing. Is there any way that we can help you move along that career path? What are your thoughts, interests, goals?

Re: "Posing" as a nurse

Well, as a nurse my common response to anyone seeking medical advice online is the same as anyone seeking medical advice from me outside of the hospital, "Talk to your physician about your concerns, he/she is best suited to handle this issue".

I can't think of a nurse that wouldn't do the same.
