| Oncology/ Neuro-oncology expert Hello, I am working on a workers' compensation case and am in need of a physician expert in oncology or neuro-oncology. Client allegedly developed glioblastoma from 20 years of exposure to PVC and subsequently died. Any help or leads would be appreciated. Thanks, Varsha Desai BSN, RN, CLNC, CNLCP |

| Re: Oncology/ Neuro-oncology expert hi vdesei-my sister judy died may 5th 2000 of glioblastoma. I'am an RN, ALNC, CLNI.I don't think that the case you have trying to prove that PVC caused the glioblastoma has any merit. In all the medical research that I have read they have not been able to find anything to connect the giloblastomas to. Infact I know of six other people who died from same and none of them had worked with any kind of chemicals, vineyls, or rubber. They have linked a connection between children who have had leukemia with radiation and an increase in brain tumors.Let me know if you find anything that would help your case. jupiterbarbara |
