Each travel company is different as to how long you are allowed to be off between assignments with no lapses in insurance coverage. Your recruiter should be able to let you know what your specific company's policy is.
If you take an assignment for a travel company then want to take say 30-60 days off in between each assignment can you retain your insurance as long as you pay for it or does coverage end on the last day of your assignment?
Thanks Ann

i can't remember what mine is but i believe i'm covered for several months
it's not the best insurance
pricey to say the least
remember though if you really want to get into traveling some offer bonuses for continuous
loyalty
i can stop traveling with my company for 35 days max
after that i lose my yearly bonus which is nice and compounds every year
so remember to take a look at all your bennies and know what your losing all together
if you need the time off to be in a specific place check out if they can get you a per diem contract
pay won't be as good but you'll keep your loyalty and possibly your yearly bonus benies
