I'm Don, currently a student in an AAS program in the northeast. My previous career was in Administration (I was a suit!), and I finally decided to stop thinking of becoming a nurse and to just do it. So far, it's been the wisest decision of made.
I'm happily partnered (22 years!) and parent to Twister, a rascally black and white tomcat. Partner and I do home remodels and renovations when we're not fixing up our own house. After school, we'll pack up and move to the mountains of western NC; any members of this forum who live there are certainly welcome to let me know how you like being there! We've been through there a couple of times just driving, and we'll be going again this next spring. I don't think I've been to a more beautiful part of the country, and I hear it treats its nurses very well.
Take care. I look forward to getting to know you.
Thanks for the post!

Hi, Don! Nice to meet you! Some day I hope to hit the East Coast again; last time was in 1976, and middle of the Bicentennial.
