Does anyone have a suggestion about a good laptop to travel with? I've looked at Dell, but want to know what features you find most useful. Any info is appreciated.

    Re: Laptop

I have a Compaq Presario laptop, & I love it. It's small, lightweight, and has very nice features. I love that it has a CD & DVD burner- I can burn discs of MP3's to listen to in the car on long drives between assignments. I use gomusic.ru it's a russian web site to download songs- it's legal & super cheap- 10cents a song! Of course you'll need internet for e-mail, etc. I also like to post pictures of my travels on Flickr.com to share with friends & family at home- it's a free website & easy to use. I don't travel with a printer, because it takes up too much room, so I use a flash drive to store documents that I may need to print- then you can take it to the business center at you apartment complex (if available) or to Kinko's. I've also owned a Sony Vaio desktop in the past, they are very nice, but they tend to be a little on the expensive side. Hope that helps!
